SILENT FRIEND is a meditative, non-linear drama that unfolds in the botanical gardens of a medieval German university town. The film’s anchor is a majestic, ancient ginkgo tree that witnesses over a century of human transformation, clumsy connections, and mankind’s shifting relationship with nature. Directed by Ildikó Enyedi.
